The Pixel's are not alone in Arc. The Byte's & Bit's live here too. Ask any Pixel what they are, and they'll tell you: the wild ones.
They're small, clever, and never quite what you expect. They're not animals, though. They wear whatever they like, cloth or armour, and some even carry a blade. Most will leave you alone. Some won't. Those are the ones people tell stories about.
Every once in a while, one lets itself be tamed. On its own terms, of course.
Bytes come in kinds, and one Byte looks a lot like the next. A Bit doesn't: there's no other like it.
Some of them even choose a current. Nobody knows why. Nobody has asked them either.
And no, they're not the monsters of the wilds. Those are something else. Don't mix them up, they take it personally.
Where do they come from? Nobody asks. They've always been here.
